On My Way To YouI'm on the greyhound Cause to Flint town I feel bound So to Saginaw I'm going So I can be with my Boo And also to get away from this town too I needed to get away Simply to deal with all the stress and drama too And that's exactly what I'm gonna do When I'm up there with you So that's why I'm on this greyhound buss And on my way to you You make me feel complete So without you I don't feel whole And the depression from missing you so much Is beginning to take it's toll So being with you and lying next to you Will make not only my face but my body glow too You give me butterflies And I can feel them deep in my soul You bring sunshine to my day Even when it seems dark as coal These is some of the reasons why I love you And exactly why I'm coming up there to see you Well I'm here now So let me end this poem I chose to write for you And I'll write another one someday soon I love you Boo And I can't wait to see you By Shannon Drake 8-31-04 age 25 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
